OSTENIL® is a solution containing sodium hyaluronate. It is injected into the joint space that contains synovial fluid and works by restoring the normal balance between the breakdown and production of sodium hyaluronate.
The beneficial effects of OSTENIL® develop gradually as the injections are administered and persist for several months. After a series of 3-5 injections, symptomatic improvement is expected to last up to 12 months.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally produced by the body that is present in all body tissues, especially in joints, skin and eyes.
